Monastic wisdom may be hard earned wisdom, but it can lead one to the true happiness and union with the Divine.
This blog and podcast (coming fall 2020) aim to introduce contemporary people to the first Christian monastics who lived between the years 300 and 600 AD. While they may seem strange to us at first, these first monastics have much to offer us in the way of wisdom.
This blog is mainly to support and augment the podcast. It will also serve as a proving ground for some thoughts on the ancient monks before formulating them into podcasts. The entries will be reflective in nature since I am not a scholar but simply a contemporary monk getting in touch with his roots.
